Dave Calver

Dave Calver is a  graduate of Rhode Island School of Design. New Yorkers are well familiar with Dave's distinct illustrations: His iconic snow-people have been used for years to promote The Lincoln Center B.I.D.'s Annual Winter's Eve event. Strap-hangers' commutes have been enlivened by Dave's three MTA Art Posters. One of these, "NYC Bling" went on to receive a Silver Medal from the Society of Illustrators. Commuters can  purchase these  transit posters to hang at home. 

Recently relocated to Palm Springs from Rochester, NY, Dave continues to produce new illustration work as well as gallery pieces. He's also hard at work on a series of character shoulder bags, a graphic novel and a horror film.

His artwork can be seen in Taschen's just-released "100 Illustrators" where he's featured alongside the editors' other 99 favorite illustrators from around the world.
